Providence Medical Center is new naming rights sponsor for the former Cricket Wireless Amphitheater located in Bonner Springs, Kansas, now known as Providence Medical Center Amphitheater. Providence Medical Center, with its award winning care and state-of-the-art emergency services, has been a Wyandotte County institution since 1920. The hospital is located five miles east of the amphitheater at Parallel and 90th Street.

In addition, the landmark venue has undergone a multi-million dollar remodel for the 2016 season.

The renovations include:

  • New reserved seating
  • Upgrades to the stage
  • Improvements to the backstage, catering, and dressing rooms
  • Remodeled merchandise stands, concession stands and restrooms
  • A complete VIP Club renovation with multimedia centers
  • New walkways, landscaping and many other aesthetic updates

The amphitheater has a long history in Kansas City as one of the city’s most beloved venues; thousands of acts and millions of fans have been to the amphitheater over the course of its 30-plus-year history. The facility is one of the largest music venues in the state.
