Providence Medical Center invites the community to a PrimeTime Celebration as the hospital lights up the future with new signage on the Providence campus on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013. The event will be held 8929 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., at entrance A, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The lighting ceremony will occur at 5 p.m. and the Washington High School Marching Band will provide entertainment. Refreshments will be served in the Providence Main Lobby following the ceremony.
"We invite the community to come out for this fun event as we light up the new Providence signs that feature our Prime Healthcare Services logo," said Randy Nyp, Providence CEO. "This ceremony not only represents the turn-around our hospital has had in recent months but reinforces our dedication to serving Wyandotte County and the surrounding areas."
The new signs brightly feature the hospital name and helps identify Providence to nearby western Wyandotte County locations, according to Nyp. A group of selected employees will be "up on the roof" to flip the switch when the lights are turned on at the celebration.
