Here's an overview of what you'll find in our Emergency Services department:
Skilled medical professionals
The department is staffed 24 hours a day by physicians and nurses trained to care for a wide range of health concerns, including cardiac, orthopedic and pediatrics. Our doctors are all board-certified, and each of our ER nurses has received the following training: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nurse & Core Course, Pediatric Advance Life Support or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course.
Fully-equipped medical facility
Our fully equipped examination areas provide the very latest in emergency medical equipment. As part of our commitment to continually improve our facility, the department will be adding enhanced monitoring devices in the near future.
The department is conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital, close to the laboratory, radiology and surgical services areas.
Private and confidential
To ensure your privacy, case discussion, consultations, examinations and treatment are all confidential and are conducted privately.
Supportive of family
We believe that a patient's loved ones are an important part of the recovery process. Where possible, they will be able to stay with patients during treatment to provide comfort.
