100 Year Celebration

Providence Medical Center will celebrate its' 100 Year Anniversary Year on Oct. 3, 2020, on the hospital campus outside with a car show, live music, food trucks, and a bbq contest. Learn more here.

The Show & Shine CAR SHOW will be held in Parking Lot A3 and will be free for spectators to enjoy. A $10 registration entry fee for each car paid at the door will receive a t-shirt.* Sponsors will present Top Car Awards and all car entries receive a Participant Award. (*LIMITED AVAILABILITY. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.)

Other fun Family activities will include:

  • BBQ contest
  • Food Trucks
  • Wide-open Pumpkin Patch for the kids*
  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Live music
  • Learn about Central Care Cancer Center and see where their new building will be located.
  • Learn about the new Catholic Charities Community Farm (south of lot A3)
  • Cartoon carricature artist
  • Drawings for Chiefs memorabilia, Coolers and VivoFits

Masks will be required and will be distributed, along with complimentary hand sanitizer. Social distancing will also be required.

The hospital opened its doors in December of 1920 on 18th Street in downtown Kansas City, Kan., where Donnelly College is now located.
